The AeroFly Ultra-Lite Transport Chair by Drive Medical is built on a magnesium alloy frame that weighs 13.3 lb on its own and 17 lb with the rear wheels fitted, and it carries 250 lb.
It is pushed by a caregiver, with attendant brakes on the handles. The large 13 inch treaded, flat free rear wheels come off on quick release axles, the backrest folds down, and the chair folds to 10.8 inches wide. Carry handles are built into the seat.
The seat is 18 inches wide and 16 deep, 18.5 inches from the floor, and the chair is 25.5 inches wide overall. The padded seat and back cushions lift out, the desk length arms have molded pads, and the footrests swing away. It comes with a black frame trimmed in red or a grey frame trimmed in blue.
