The Go-Go Carbon is the lightest thing we sell that still calls itself a scooter. A full carbon fibre frame, rims and tiller bring it to 35 lb without the battery and 39 lb with it, and it folds and locks in seconds.
It carries up to 300 lb and Pride publishes up to 10 miles, about 16 km, on a charge. Folded it is 19 by 17.5 by 26.5 inches, which fits a car boot without a fight.
Its battery is 288 watt hours, under the 300 Wh ceiling airlines apply to the battery that powers a mobility aid, so it is one you can plan a flight around. Airline policy still applies and they have to be told in advance.
