The U-Step Neuro is a seven-wheel walker made for a neurological gait rather than for general weakness. Its brakes are on until you squeeze the handles, the reverse of an ordinary rollator, which is why it does not roll away from you.
Seven wheels give stability in every direction, including sideways, and the rear pair is spring loaded, so the jolt of a threshold is absorbed instead of travelling up your arms. It turns inside 29 inches. Laser and sound cueing are available, which puts a projected line on the floor to step over when a foot freezes.
