The WHILL Modo Breeze is an ultra lightweight folding power wheelchair with a carbon fibre frame. WHILL publish the bare chair at 28.6 lb, before the 3.9 lb battery and 1.2 lb cushion go in, and 33.7 lb fully configured, which puts it among the lightest power chairs made. It folds in seconds to 8.5 inches wide.
Two 180 W brushless motors and electromagnetic brakes handle pavements and gentle slopes, the joystick has a colour screen with a built in headlight and a USB charging port, and the 240 Wh lithium ion battery detaches so it can go on a plane as carry on. It carries riders up to 300 lb on a 2 inch contoured cushion.
