The Wonder Click Extendable Bed Rail is a bedside rail with a curved handle you take hold of to sit up and get out of bed. The rail slides out along the mattress, so its length is set to the person and the bed rather than fixed, and it gives something solid to reach for at night.
 
It fastens to the bed frame with a safety strap on a traditional bed, or with the supplied hardware on a wooden platform adjustable bed. Pressing the EZ Click button lifts the handle straight off its base, so it can come away for making the bed or for a transfer and go back on in a second. A faux leather pouch and a cup holder bin are included, which keeps a phone, glasses and a drink beside the bed.
 
Two things decide whether it fits. The mattress has to be 10 to 12 inches thick, and the bed base has to be wood rather than metal. It is also one of the few portable bed rails tested to the ASTM F3186-17 safety standard for adult portable bed rails.
